They specialize in pottery, which they sell to the locals and tourists. They also host tourist experiences to bring in more income, such as the Batwa cultural trail. They also primarily engage in agriculture due to major loss of their forest, since the the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest became a national park to protect the mountain gorillas. Their average life expectancy is 28 years old. |
